Course Terms and Conditions
  • Active School Activities will be a NUT FREE. Please ensure that your child’s snack does not contain any items including sandwich spread that include and nut based products.
  • Child must bring a refillable water bottle that is clearly labelled (no carbonated drinks are allowed)
  • During warmer months, please ensure your child has sun cream applied prior to the session and a hat to wear outside. During the colder months please ensure you child has a waterproof coat, warm clothes, hat, gloves and appropriate footwear.
  • Active School has limited child places available due to child to adult ratio. Please book and pay in advance to guarantee your child’s place.
  • If your child needs to leave before the end of the session please, email clare@activeschool.co.uk or send a written letter.
  • Cancellations must be given 48 hours before activity blocks begin
  • All staff that work for Active School are Qualified Teachers, Coaches or Early Years Practitioners and are DBS checked.
  • Active School will always have a Qualified First Aider on site at all times.
  • Failure to collect your child on time will result in a late payment charge of £5 being issued after 5 minutes of the session ending. If after 1 hour we are unable to make contact with someone on the registration form children’s services will be contacted.
  • Please abide by the HSC guidelines in reference to infectious diseases and illness.
  • Active School activities provided all carry an element of risk, please speak to Clare Van Niekerk if you have any concerns.
  • Active School has Risks Assessments for all activities covered in afterschool activities.
  • Active School encourages children not to bring valuables to the After School Clubs, please note we do not take any responsibility for any valuables the children bring in.
  • Active School will not share any personal data or information in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation.
  • Active School has a zero tolerance on behaviour and bullying during the activity days/ after school clubs. Active School wants to provide a fun, stimulating and safe environment for all children. We expect everyone to respect each other, others belongings and the equipment and facilities around them. Disruptive behaviour will result in a series of warning systems, parental contact and a potential ban from the Activity Days/ After School Clubs run by Active School.
